Gadgets & gifts buying guide
A mini projector throws a big picture on a wall or ceiling and is made for movie nights, football matches with friends, and cartoons for the kids. The picture looks best in a dark room on a white wall and fades a lot in daylight. Choose by inputs: a model that plays from a USB stick and HDMI (receiver, laptop), or a portable model for movies and games. Do not expect cinema quality, it is fun at a fair price.
A smart watch has become a classic gift: it pairs with the phone over Bluetooth and comes with wireless earbuds in the same box, so one gift becomes two. If you want a complete boxed present, the gift set combines a smart watch, earbuds and a charger, a safe choice for birthdays and graduation. Full details of each watch are on its page.
If you have a smart TV or an Android box and are tired of typing letter by letter with the remote, an air mouse remote with keyboard moves the cursor with your hand and types a movie name fast. A practical gift for parents.
How to choose a gift? Think about the person's habits: movies and matches, a projector; sport and walking, a smart watch; a smart TV at home, the air mouse. Not sure? The gift set is the safe pick. A common mistake is buying a projector for a bright daytime room and being disappointed by a pale picture.
Care: never cover the projector's vents while it runs, and charge the watch with its own charger. Order from Shahein with cash on delivery: free delivery to every governorate in Iraq, check the gift in front of the courier before paying, and a free 30-day return guarantee.
Gadgets & gifts: common questions
How much does a mini projector cost in Iraq?
Our mini projector with USB and HDMI is 49,500 IQD, and the portable projector for movies and games 78,000 IQD. The smart watch with earbuds is 50,000 IQD, the gift set 47,000 IQD and the air mouse remote 27,000 IQD. Delivery is free.
Does the projector work in daylight?
It works, but the picture fades a lot in strong light. Best results are in a dark room or at night, on a white wall or screen.
How do I connect the projector to a TV or phone?
From a USB stick directly, or with an HDMI cable from a receiver or laptop. Phone connection depends on the model, check the inputs on the product page.
What is a good electronic gift at a fair price?
It depends on the person: a projector for movie lovers, a smart watch for the sporty, and the gift set (watch, earbuds, charger) as a safe choice for anyone. All come boxed.
How long is delivery and how do I pay?
We call within 24 hours to confirm. Delivery is 24 to 48 hours anywhere in Iraq. You pay the courier in cash on arrival.
Can I return a gift?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, in original condition with the box and accessories. Return pickup is free.
